David Garrett has made classical music socially acceptable again in recent years and brought a breath of fresh air to the scene with his casual appearance, which, however, is backed by hard work. He played in the USA and Europe in front of sold-out houses and was a permanent guest on all major television shows on both sides of the Atlantic.
With the movie "Der Teufelsgeiger" David Garrett has also fulfilled his long-awaited dream of working as an actor. He not only plays the leading role in the film, but also composed the orchestral arrangements of the Paganini pieces for it.
Garrett plays several valuable violins, one of his instruments is a violin by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from 1772 and another by Antonio Stradivari from 1718 and now also a Busch Stradivari from 1716.
