Maite Kelly's career is inextricably linked to the success of her family name. The Kellys, a multinational musical and family alliance of Irish, Finnish-German and US musicians, began as street musicians and earned their merits in the 90s. One of the children from the Kelly clan who played and sang their way into the limelight was Maite Kelly, born on December 4, 1979. Especially with her songs "Roses are Red" and "Every Baby" she remained in the memory of the fans of the musical family.
When the Kelly family disbanded in 2008, it was far from the end of Maite Kelly's musical career. Instead, the Berlin-born Maite Kelly began to emancipate herself artistically and musically and the three solo albums "Das volle Programm", "Wie ich bin" and "Sieben Leben für Dich" followed between 2011 and 2016. With her current long player "Die Liebe siegt sowieso" from 2018, Maite Kelly climbed to number 3 in the German LP charts with her mix of pop, classical standards such as swing and German pop.
