POSTPONED: Ozzy Osbourne at Barclaycard Arena Hamburg
Rock and Roll Hall-of-Fame member and Grammy winner Ozzy Osbourne has been ordered by a doctor to postpone his "No More Tours 2" tour through Europe until autumn. This will also affect the concerts planned from 13 to 27 February in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin and Zurich.
The first four European dates were cancelled two days ago due to influenza. After another visit to the doctor, a severe infection of the upper respiratory tract was diagnosed. The danger of this developing into pneumonia is too high due to the physical exertion on tour under the given winter conditions.
"I am totally disappointed to have to postpone the upcoming European tour. Since October, a lot seems to be going wrong. First an infection of the thumb and now the flu and bronchitis. I apologize to all the fans who have been loyal to me over the years, to my band, my crew and Judas Priest, that I am forced to let you down now. Nevertheless, I promise that the tour with Judas Priest will take place. We are currently working on catch-up dates so that it can start in September. God bless you. I love you all. Ozzy."
Tickets already purchased in advance remain valid for the replacement shows, which will be announced shortly.
