Queen & Adam Lambert
Queen already entered during lifetime the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. Together with their charismatic former band leader Freddie Mercury they played more than 700 gigs, sold more than impressive 320 million records and stayed respected and versatile musicians during their career.
Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon and Freddie Mercury brought their combination of rock and operetta through songs like "I want to break free", "Radio Gaga" or with the collab with David Bowie in "under pressure" to a bigger audience and were worldwid successfull. With their song "we will rock you" they created a hymn and cemented their status as rock stars.
After the tragic loss of band leader Freddie Mercury in 1991 Queen worked with several guest singers. In 2012 the british band toured for the first time with singer Adama Lambert. As their slogan still applies for the band: "the show must go on."
